The working title for this collection was, “My Gay Cowboy Brooches”, which while it has a certain ring to it, I think “Chaps” might be a little more subtle and broader perhaps. The collection was originally created for a year of the horse exhibition at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina (NSW).
There were five or six pieces in the collection then and they were all snapped up. Over time the collection has grown to 10 (with more to come I’m sure).
They’re fun and great conversations starters.

They BEE Bronze!
I’ve altered a Bee wax seal to give it 3D relief .. impressed it to FIMO and sand-cast them in Bronze.
What will they become, I wonder? and where will they go?… Little time-traveling bees!
