Something amazing !! Anticlastic Earrings by Steven Chick
These are the ‘anticlastic ‘ forged earrings of Steven’s that I was talkingabout in Byron Hammer today… they were forged from Titanium .
The drawings on the left are the pattern .. so each earring is forged from one piece !!!
Whoohoo !

Out of the dim and distant past….
While in Hobart,Tasmania, Rosie and I visited Despard Gallery on Castray Esplanade…. Steven Joyce, the owner and Director, invited us to have a look at the collection upstairs….while we were snoofin’ about up there enjoying his fantastic collection of art … old and new..I came across this work by Ceramic artist Sally McGillvery, which she exhibited in Bett Gallery when it was still upstairs in Salamanca place .. 18 or so years ago … ? .. dunno..but I did the table for her…Steven had thought the iron work was by somebody else …Had bought it at Gowan’s auction house for a couple of hundred or so and sold it for a couple of thou….the week before …!

Some Variations on a Theme
Never be without a Safty Pin !.. These are great as Scarf Pins , Brooches , Kilt Pins and Handbag brooches/adornment or lost buttons and broken zips. Also not bad for jamming through an earlobe as Punk accessory, they being 316 Stainless Steel.
