The Three Hares …
Somewhere, in Buddhist caves near the old Silk Road in Western China .. around 500 CE, are found the earliest known examples of this enigmatic symbol. thought to have arrived there from west of there.. perhaps Persia ? There are examples in The British isles dating from around the 13th century and some from France and other areas in Europe.

Couple of things here.. The Cage in the Prison, one without a floor , the other an open door.
About the “SELF” we build from birth, by first experiencing, then judging, then forming an opinion
and identifying with that … holding it to be the truth of us .. This sense of SELF can prevent us from
experiencing the moment directly.. Whereas .. it is an illusion, has no foundation and so cannot hold us.
(a useful tool though.. but to be put down upon completion of a task)
The “Wheeled Wheel” Takes this thought further and describes how we carry the idea of “Self as Journey”
and perpetuate it.
