I have lots of medieval viking gear and am always looking for ways to dress up fairly rough looking clothes. The pennanulars in the right frame are awesome and fiercely primitive. Can you send me some prices and maybe a picture or two with pins going through them? Also a price on the lovely in the left frame- my wife would wear that easily. I especially like the closed brooch with the dropped spiral under it. I’ve never seen anything as creative yet solid as these beauties. Good work. I live in Pittsburgh, PA and do a lot of Santa gigs at Christmas so if you have anything that would compliment that costume also, I’d be interested.
Thank you

Hi Theo !
Sorry about the long delay in getting back to you !
The pins in the right panel are as they are straight from the forge
and hot bending…and as such are unpolished and without the pins !
I can leave them unpolished and just waxed with pin attached ..
They are pretty black then and I agree that it’s a good look .
Thanks , by the way , for your kind words and compliments !
It sounds like you have a bit of fun in the Anachronistic World !
As to prices and images … I will send some images with measurements
so that you might get an idea of scale .
Meanwhile .. prices range from $75 au to around $190 au for the brooch on
the left…
Custom made pieces are negotiable.
Postage would be extra.
Could you please let me know if you are still interested after the long time it took for me to reply.
My website is
tho it is really a scrap-book of my work and a lot is from the distant past and not available for sale
or reproduction.
Thanks again,
Best wishes,
Bruce.

Howdy, I do think your web site could be having web browser compatibility
issues. When I take a look at your web site in Safari,
it looks fine however, when opening in I.E., iit has some overlapping issues.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Apart from that, wonderful blog!
